Join Us. June 21, 2008. Vancouver, BC

For a spectacular evening of art and advocacy.

Unite with Art is a series of auctions to benefit a global UNICEF initiative, Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS. The events will be held in Vancouver and Calgary and Toronto in 2009. Each event will showcase high profile regional and national artists in several mediums. The gala events will be comprised of entertainment and a live, and complimentary silent auction. Through the generous contribution of artists, galleries and volunteers, Unite with Art donates 100% of the art proceeds to this UNICEF campaign. The event has been designed to bring awareness to this important initiative as well to celebrate the artistic skills and talents of the artists.

This is not just a cause. This is a response to an epidemic that is the worst our world has ever seen. Through Unite with Art's standards in art and production, we hope to raise awareness about how this disease has needlessly taken, and continues to take, the lives of millions of children. Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS is dedicated to the children and mothers affected by HIV/AIDS, and to the eradication of this pandemic. more

About the Campaign

Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS is the largest campaign ever to be initiated to bring the world's attention to the global impact that HIV/AIDS has had on children and youth. Over 2.3 million children under the age of 15 live with HIV, mostly due to mother-to-child transmissions. These children have fallen victim to this pandemic the world over, reaching from sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Asia, to the Americas. Efforts to expand health care services and prevention measures will enable Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS to achieve a goal that will see a future generation of children living in an AIDS-free world. more
